HI there
First I want to say that I hope you enjoy the beach immensely! Second, I would like to say thank you very much for your blog. We have 3 young boys in our brood and they will eat up your vintage literature like chocolate frosting on a sugar cookie. Third, I'd like to ask a technical question that you may be able to answer. If I were to purchase a reader device, such as a Kindle, could I download many of the books you reference on the blog to that device for my children to read? I don't want to print and I don't want them to sit at the computer and try to read from a pdf file. Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello, thanks so much. We had a great time at the beach, but it is so good to be home again. :)

I found a link that might help...it looks as if you can download public domain books from other sources like Google on a Kindle device:

http://askville.amazon.com/download-books-sources-Kindle/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=9710470

You can also download books onto a thumb drive:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_flash_drive

and then just plug it into a device. We have a mini Asus lap top which we use to read the ebooks. Our 2GB Sansdisk stores dozens of books for us.

Copy and paste the links for information.

I hope this helps.
